Old Hands are _
Dave Cross and Rick Arnold.
Dave and Rick (Old Hands) have known each other
since the '70's when they wrote the
material for, and (with others)
performed with 'Roger the Cat'. They were
signed to the (now defunct) Motor
Records and mostly played London pubs
and clubs.

Since then with careers,
marriages, children etc. they went
their separate ways but always kept in
touch. Each of them has always had a
little band on the go wherever they
happened to be. For each of them this at
times, has been an important source of
income.

Recently they have both moved to
Lincolnshire and have started writing
together again. This album (also called
Old Hands) features some material which
is co - written and some which is
written individually. As to why - well
I guess it is partly because they enjoy
the process of writing and recording
and also to see if anyone likes what they
do. Receiving positive comments and
getting airplay is fantastic!

Their influences are many and varied and this
is probably reflected in the range of
styles of their material. They hope you
will be able to listen to some of their
other stuff and maybe give it airplay
as well.

They gig infrequently with some
top quality 'musos' just for fun
really. They have both 'done the rounds'
as it were.
